Cinderella

The classic tale of Cinderella comes alive with the genius score of Prokofiev and the artistry and athleticism of CityDanceNY.  Cinderella, the beauty of her generation, lives with the love and memories of her now deceased parents as she suffers under the cruelty of her step family. The kingdom throws a ball and invites all the young ladies to attend but Cinderella is forbidden to go by her jealous stepmother. She shares kind acts with a poor beggar and her dreams become reality as she is whisked into the fantasy life of a royal court. The Prince falls instantly in love but the hour of midnight approaches and Cinderella must choose between exposing the truth of her ragged existence or fleeing and leaving the prince with just a memory.
